Description

The Fancy Sweater is a simple raglan knit top-down and in the round and one of Susan's favorites!

And it makes for a great First Sweater! Are you tired of making cowls and scarves and dish cloths? Why not try a sweater?!

This pattern is top-down (so no seams) using a worsted weight (with a big gauge so it knits quickly). Emma will go over the in's and out's of sweater making and help you through your project. During your first class, you will pick out yarns and do a swatch. Each week, you will have a manageable goal and if you do your homework between classes, you will have a completed sweater by the end of the class!

This class meets Monday Aug 11 and Thursdays, Aug 14, 21, Sept 4, 18, 25 from 4:30-6pm.

Price is for class instruction and the pattern. Needles, notions and yarn available for purchase at the store.

Note: if you would like to attend this class but the class times do not work for you, please call the store 989-892-6400 and let us know what works for you.

A piece of ewe divider

"A Piece of Ewe is my favorite yarn store whether I am shopping in store, online or by phone. The selection and quality of their yarn is absolutely fantastic and their staff is extremely helpful and a joy to be around. I would recommend this store to anyone who loves yarn."

Cheryl Lockhart

"I’ve shopped and hung out at A Piece of Ewe for a long time. Love all the staff and their constant help and genuine friendliness. Every week I look forward to the Thursday morning open knitting with many friends."

Linda Newcomb

"I have taken three different classes at this shop and each have helped improve my skills as a knitter. The whole team and atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The hat of the month club is awesome and eliminates the dread of choosing a new project! I always leave with a project or three and the team always has recommendations for patterns with different yarn!"
